What is FAC like?
Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is your Sunday worship service like?

A. The service is at 10:45 AM. Inside our front door, you will be greeted with a smile and that week's church bulletin. A typical Sunday morning service lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes, and we will blend traditional and contemporary music, a focus on outreach both locally and internationally, prayers together, and a teaching time.

Q. How do you treat visitors?

A. We don't have visitor nametags or anything like that, but we would disappoint ourselves if we didn't say “Hi” to our visitors and get to know you! So expect some handshakes and conversation.  We promise not to single out visitors from the pulpit. Also, we don't expect our visitors to give – you will notice that, unless there is some kind of special event, we do not even pass an offering plate.

Q. What about children?

A. Children are welcome at Florence Alliance! During the service, children 0-2 are welcome in the nursery. Your older kids should stay with you during the first portion of our worship service. Just before the teaching time, children ages 3 through 5th grade leave for the Children's Church room.

Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:30 PM is our Impact! gathering for Middle- and High-schoolers, downstairs in our fellowship hall, or outside in good weather. Includes games, teaching, prayer, and dinner!

Q. What should I wear?

A. Please be comfortable! We don't have a “dress code” - official or unofficial. You will see worshipers dressed in T-shirts, suits, and everything in between. We care about the person, not the clothing.
